More on Victoria Road streetlights

Cllr Karen George, Conservative Cllr for Berrylands is urging residents to make their voices heard over new street lights in Victoria Road Surbiton.The Council is currently holding a consultation on which design will replace the existing street lights, with 3 alternatives shortlisted, none of which resemble the current lights. Cllr George, together with the Surbiton Historical Society, believes the new lights should be in keeping with the style of the area.

Cllr George said ‘It has become apparent that many residents would prefer the lights to be replaced with the same design, as opposed to the 3 designs shortlisted for the consultation.’
