If you would like your old bin taken away, simply leave it at the front of your property with a yellow ‘For Collection’ sticker on the lid.
These special stickers were supplied in a pre-Christmas newsletter sent to all households involved in the new Recycling and Landfill Waste Collection Service.
Your old bins will be collected on your usual landfill waste collection day. Kingston Council will recycle as many bins as possible, so please make sure they are empty and washed out.

During the weeks commencing 5 and 12 January 2009 – Simply put out your real Christmas Tree out on your landfill waste collection day. The waste contractor will collect it and take it for composting for FREE.
