Hole in Upper Brighton Road……

…….opposite Graham Gardens. This just in from RBK Highways.

After excavation a further leak has been discovered at this location. Repair works are in progress, but may entail more extensive works to cut out and replace a section of the water main.

Due to the need for further repair works and the road construction requiring concrete replacement, the temporary traffic lights will now remain in situ until the works are completed.

The expected completion date for these works and the road being fully re-opened  is now Sunday 9^th May 2010.
