Road and footway improvements at last.

June 9, 2008

Residents of  Oakhill will be pleased that , after years of pressure, we have managed to get the Neighbourhood to resurface Oakhill Road and the adjoining road, making for a much less perilous journey to the  medical centre.  Lovelace residents are about to receive a letter informing them that part of Lovelace Road is the have its pavement  renewed. Below is a photo taken by Paul two years ago to highlight the problem  local residents face.Lovelace pavement

Its not just Oakhill that needs resurfacing all the roads need doing and with the amount of council tax that has to be paid it is appalling that these roads are a disgrace

I agree, but Oakhill was particularly bad and it goes with other roads, such as Cotterill and Ellerton, that we have managed to get resurfaced in the past. We are always willing to have new examples pointed out to us.
