New Residents Association launched

Nick Kilby and Paul Johnston last night presided over an enthusiatic meeting of about 30 residents of Ellerton and Bond Roads who had come together with a view to starting a Residents Association to promote good neighbourliness and pursue common concerns in the two roads. The move arose from the work Nick and Paul had done over the last two years, together with residents, Council officers and the Safer Neighbourhood Team to tackle anti-social behaviour. The police were represented by two PCSOs.

Residents interested in joining should contact Nick or Paul for the time being, though it is hoped that a steering group of rsidents will soon be formed.
