RBK has today put out the following announcement:-

Safeguarding Adults

If you are an unpaid or family carer to someone over 18 years of age, Kingston Council, in partnership with the London Boroughs of Richmond, Merton, and Sutton, will be running the Safeguarding Adults event on the

28 February. The free event has been designed so that carers can learn about how to protect the people they care for from all forms of abuse.

Carers will gain an understanding of:

* What is abuse?

* How do I recognise the signs of abuse?

* What if I’m not sure, but suspect abuse?

* How do I report it?

* What happens next?

The event will take place at the following time, date and location:

* 11.00am – 2.30pm

Thursday, 28 February

Chaucer Centre, Morden
