Flooding in Upper Brighton Road

We are grateful to Southborough RA for the following information:-

There has been some flooding on the road to the front of The Royal Star & Garter Home. It is thought that this is as a result of tree roots encroaching the Thames Water network. Thames Water will have to carry out vital water works outside The Royal Star & Garter Home.  Work will commence on  Monday 25^th November and is expected to last five days.  Working hours will be 08.00-17.00hrs Monday to Friday. There will be traffic restrictions to Upper Brighton Road and vehicles leaving the Home  will have to turn right to the roundabout.
