Adult community care
Kingston’s Community Services Directorate is consistently and rightly praised in review after review by the relevant Inspectorate. To access its services to adults follow this link http://www.kingston.gov.uk/browse/health/communitycareservices.htm.
Because we value the service so highly we, your councillors, will continue to monitor carefully Administration attempts to inflict cuts.

Eggs on the roof and other ASB
Cllr. Paul Johnston was contacted by the Surrey Comet about this story http://www.surreycomet.co.uk/news/localnews/display.var.1119352.0.police_and_council_need_to_take_egg_attack_action.php.
The article doesn’t say that he pointed out that the School Lane estate is a venue where youths from many areas choose to ‘hang out’ when at a loose end for something to do. He also pointed out that the residents of School Lane are themselves the victims of acts of vandalism perpetrated by some of them (see entry in his blog www.pauljohnston.info on this.)
This kind of thing should be reported to the Safer Neighbourhoods Team, whose contact details are included in this blog. See below and the Useful Phone Numbers page.
